Local author Linda Lowen will read from her brand new book Secret Syracuse: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure. She'll give interesting insight into how she chose the entries in the book and vetted stories, discuss chapters pertaining to Marcellus specifically, and answer questions from the audience.

She'll also discuss stories you won't find in the book!

The library will be giving away 2 signed copies for FREE at this event. All participants will have an opportunity to win.

Copies will be available for purchase after the event. 

MORE ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Linda Lowen is a Syracuse-based writer, editor, and book and theater reviewer. Previously an award-winning radio/television producer and talk show host, she’s been investigating and sharing the stories of Central New Yorkers for over 25 years. Her nonfiction work has been published in the New York Times, Publishers Weekly and The Writer magazines, and in the anthology Tiny Love Stories: True Tales of Love in 100 Words or Less (Artisan 2020).
